The Challenge
LinkedIn creators often struggle to identify what truly drives engagement. Manual tracking of metrics across multiple profiles is time-consuming, and qualitative analysis—tone, content pillars, hook effectiveness—is subjective and difficult to scale.
There was a clear need for a centralized tool that could automate data collection, analyze non-text content with AI, and provide a unified dashboard for historical performance tracking.

Our Approach
We built a modern, scalable stack designed for real-time responsiveness and security. The platform had to support automated scraping, multimodal AI enrichment, and a unified dashboard—all without blocking the user experience.
We designed serverless Edge Functions for background scraping and AI pipelines, integrated OpenAI and Twelve Labs for text, image, and video analysis, and ensured robust security with rate limiting and data isolation via Row Level Security.

The Solution: Technical Architecture & Key Features
Frontend: React 18, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for a type-safe, responsive UI. Recharts handles complex data visualizations.
Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL) provides the core infrastructure, utilizing Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure data isolation.
Processing: Supabase Edge Functions manage serverless tasks, including background scraping and AI enrichment.
Intelligent Multimodal Enrichment: Unlike standard analytics tools, Content Compass "reads" the content within media—documents (PDFs/carousels) for thematic analysis, images (Base64) for OpenAI vision-based analysis, and videos via Twelve Labs for indexing and summarization.
Creator & Post Intelligence: The system tracks up to 500 creators per user, providing Content Pillars (main themes), Hook Analysis (effectiveness of opening lines), and Posting Patterns (optimal timing and frequency from historical data).
Robust Security & Performance: IP-based rate limiting (20 attempts/min) prevents brute-force attacks. Scraping and enrichment run asynchronously so users can navigate the dashboard without interruption.
Data Flow & Workflow
Ingestion: User submits a LinkedIn URL and the background scraper triggers. Processing: Data is filtered and stored in PostgreSQL. Enrichment: AI pipelines analyze the post's tone, hooks, and media. Visualization: Data is aggregated and served via real-time subscriptions to the dashboard.
