Retention, not accuracy, is the unsolved problem in nutrition apps.

What We Built

Mascot-driven UX: The character reacts to every meal logged, celebrates hitting goals with the user, and levels up over time. It turns passive data entry into an ongoing relationship between the user and the app.

GPT-4o nutrition scanner: Point the camera at a plate or a food label and get instant macro and calorie estimates. No barcode scanning, no manual search — the AI reads what's in front of the camera.

Skia-powered animations: The mascot animations run on React Native Skia — smooth, performant, and custom. Standard React Native components can't match the feel of a character that genuinely reacts frame-by-frame.

Goal tracking and streaks: Daily goals, streak counters, and level milestones — the same mechanics that make Duolingo's retention industry-leading, applied to nutrition.
