ENGAGEMENT MODELS
DEDICATED TEAM
Senior engineers on retainer, working your hours

Dedicated team

Add engineers to your product without a six month hiring cycle. A dedicated team joins on a monthly retainer with 30-day rolling contracts. They work in your repos and your tools during US hours.

Run it two ways. We manage delivery with a lead engineer who owns the backlog with you. Or your team manages the engineers day to day, which most people call staff augmentation. Same contract, your choice.

Our approach

A dedicated team is senior engineers on a monthly retainer. They work your hours, in your repos, on your roadmap. You can stop with 30 days notice.

Hiring a senior engineer in the US takes months and a big salary. A dedicated team gives you the same seniority in weeks, on a 30-day rolling contract, with hours that overlap your workday.

You choose how to run it. Either our lead engineer owns the backlog with you and runs weekly demos, or you manage the engineers day to day in your own tools. Both ways, the code and the IP are yours from day one.

Here's what backs every engagement
01Senior engineers matched to your stack, your domain, and your time zone
0230-day rolling contracts. No long lock-in, no hiring risk
03Working hours that overlap US time, with standups and demos on your calendar
04Two ways to run it: we manage delivery, or you manage the engineers
05Swap an engineer, add one, or scale down with two weeks notice
06All code, accounts, and IP stay in your name

You get a team that ships every week and keeps shipping. No recruiter fees. No six month search. No surprise when someone leaves.

Dedicated team at a glance

The team is built around your product, not around a scope document. That makes it the right fit when the roadmap keeps moving. Compare that with a Fixed-price project, where scope is locked before we start, or an AI sprint, which is a short push on one feature. A dedicated team is for the long run.

Forward deployed engineering is the AI-focused version of this model. The engineer embeds in your repos and Slack and owns a production outcome, like a live RAG chatbot or a voice agent, rather than a seat on the team. If your work is mostly AI features, read that page next.

With great AI comes great responsibility, and TechEmulsion takes that responsibility seriously.

Why it's different

How the Team Works

01

Matching that starts with your stack

We match on three things: stack, domain, and time zone. You meet the engineers before they start. If the fit is not right, you say so and we bring another candidate.

02

Productive in the first sprint

The first sprint is onboarding with real work. Access on day one, a walkthrough of the codebase, a small ticket shipped in the first week, and a written summary of what the engineer learned.

03

Reporting you do not have to ask for

Weekly demo, weekly written update, and a shared board you can open any time. If we manage delivery, the lead engineer sends it. If you manage, we still check in every month.

04

Swap or scale without drama

If an engineer is not working out, we swap them with a handover period, at no charge. Need a second engineer or a QA person? Add one. Need to go down to one? Two weeks notice.

05

Your IP, your accounts, your exit

Code lives in your GitHub. Cloud accounts are yours. Nothing is held for ransom. End the contract with 30 days notice and we hand over docs and access cleanly.

Get senior engineers in weeks, not months

Tell us your stack and what you need to ship. We introduce matched engineers within days. Start on a 30-day rolling contract.

Where the Team Plugs In

From discovery and architecture through development, integration, and optimization:

01

Discovery and planning

The lead engineer joins your planning and turns goals into a backlog you both own.
We review the current codebase and list the risks before writing new code.
If you manage the team, we plug into your existing planning and just take tickets.
02

Design and prototyping

Engineers build clickable prototypes and throwaway spikes to settle open questions.
Architecture decisions are written down so your team can read them later.
We take a stuck Lovable or Bolt prototype and map what to keep and what to rebuild.
03

Implementation

Work ships in weekly increments with a demo at the end of each week.
Pull requests go through your review process, or ours if you prefer.
Engineers own full features end to end, from database to UI.
04

Quality assurance

Tests are part of every pull request, not a separate phase at the end.
Add a QA engineer to the team when release volume grows.
We keep a regression suite so old features do not break when new ones land.
05

DevOps and operations

The team sets up or improves CI/CD in your accounts, not ours.
Monitoring and alerts are wired so you find out about issues before your users do.
Add a DevOps engineer part-time if your infra needs more than the team can cover.
06

Maintenance and continuous improvement

The same engineers who built it keep it running, so nothing is lost in handover.
Tech debt gets a slot in every sprint instead of piling up.
Docs are kept current so you can scale down or take over in-house any time.

Hiring in the US vs a Dedicated Team

The point of a dedicated team is simple: ship more, sooner, without the cost and risk of hiring. Here is what that looks like in practice.

TaskBeforeAfterImpact
Add one senior full-stack engineer8 to 10 weeks to recruit, interview, and hire in the USMatched engineer starts within 2 weeksWeeks saved and no recruiter fee
Take a Lovable prototype to a production productFounder stuck at a demo that breaks with real usersTwo-person dedicated team rebuilds the core and ships to paying users in 4 to 8 weeksA product you can charge for
Add AI features to a SaaS with no ML on staffMonths searching for a US ML hire while competitors shipAI engineer on the team in the first month, first feature live within a ship cycleRoadmap moves while the hunt for a hire is over
White-label build team for a marketing agencyTurning down client dev work or subcontracting ad hocA standing team that ships client work under the agency's nameNew revenue line without new payroll

Every engagement starts with a written goal for the first 30 days. We review it with you at the end of the month, then decide together whether to keep going, change the team, or stop.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a dedicated team start?
We start with a short call about your stack, product, and hours. Within a few days you meet matched engineers. Once you approve, the first sprint begins with access, a codebase walkthrough, and a small first ticket. Most teams start within two weeks.
Who manages the engineers?
Your choice. If we manage delivery, a lead engineer owns the backlog with you and runs weekly demos. If you pick staff augmentation, you manage them in your own tools. We tell you on the first call which one fits your setup.
What if an engineer is not working out?
Tell us. We swap in another engineer with a handover period, at no extra cost. If the problem is process rather than the person, we fix that first. You never have to sit with a bad fit.
What hours does the team work?
The team is based in Peshawar, Pakistan, and works a shift that overlaps US working hours. We agree the overlap window up front. Standups and demos happen in your time zone.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do, from the first commit. Code lives in your repos, cloud accounts are in your name, and the contract says all work product belongs to you. There is nothing to transfer when you leave.
How do we end the engagement?
Give 30 days notice. During that month the team documents what it built, closes open work, and hands over access. You can also scale down to one engineer instead of stopping fully.
